Dan Wrote This

The report is in: our script has been approved and we’re ready to start filming for round 2.

Unfortunately this means this poor blog will yet again sit around collecting dust for the next six weeks or so. If you want updates, be sure and follow me on Twitter.

There are some very interesting recent developments, some things that I will just have to keep to myself for now.

Tah tah!

I’m still in the slow, grinding process of moving my myspace blog over here. I’ve finally decided that I’ll only move the posts I care about, as back then I thought it was ok to waste everyone’s time with “something dumb happend to day and I’m depressed” or “I have a psudo-philosophical point I came up with while playing Mario Kart and I want to share it.”

This is the first part of my unfinished (and largely abandoned) Maze City story. Enjoy!

The Maze City

Snow drifted carelessly through a chill breeze as I stood in line, awaiting an unsure fate. Overhead, a smoke stack imposed it’s thick black smoke upon the sky. We waited in that winter cold with nothing but the clothes on our backs and the shoes on our feet. Faces of those around me hung low with defeat and grief and loss. Our brave country had fallen to foreign powers.

I just uploaded a couple more projects onto Vimeo. One from indonesia, the GAB church into I did with Roy Rampengan while I was out there, plus two of the AreaOne camp videos I recently finished for the every patient Kiley Butler. Enjoy!

So, being the kind of writer that likes to do as much research as possible, including reading other people’s screenplays, and being that I’m currently writing, I thought it would be appropriate to dish out some links to websites where you can download screenplays. Granted I totally lifted this out the back of Syd Field’s book Screenplay, but I thought I’d share all the same.
